Times Internet Ltd has launched the new Indiatimes Mail with Web 2.0-powered technology and functionalities. The new Indiatimes Mail is futuristic, simple, fast and intuitive. It introduces a new word into e-mail terminology -- ‘collaborative’. The mail service intends to provide users with a one-stop destination to satisfy all their communication and collaboration needs on the Internet. Further, it also offers unlimited space and enables them to interact without ever having to log out.
The futuristic Web 2.0 Ajax-based collaborative suite ensures a reliable platform for speedy mail experience, along with an advanced bouquet of features that include shared calendar, shopping and travel, translator, contact collector, create and share documents online, mash ups, drag and drop, conversational view and tagging, among others. Software company Zimbra is providing Indiatimes with the Ajax Web 2.0 facility.
